MFC U8 Vs Whittington – Saturday 28 October 17

Very tough game this morning for our Under 8 boys, came up against a good team who have been together for a few years. We gave 100 percent again and worked for each other through out the match, some very good passing on show which is a pleasure to see and shows training each week does work. Had 2 keepers today with Oli playing the 1st half and making some good saves with his legs as his hands seemed to be glued to his shorts. 2nd half and Eddie went in goal and pulled of the save of the match tipping a bullet shot around the post.. Well done boys
Now we come to the goals….. Cory smashing in low to gab his 1st of the season, Kian getting the ball looking up and hitting a lovely pass towards Alfie who chased it down and slotted it past the keeper with some style and last Oli hitting it home to great cheers from the watching crowds, Oli also went on a great run taking on a few players and beating the keeper only to hear the refs whistle blow for out of play right from the halfway line.. Good skills little legs. Man of the Mach today was Oli… well done little man and well done to all the players for giving 100 percent. Move on to the next game now and the results will start coming in.
